Make a Change
Live Fearless

Each of us should be in a continual process of recreating ourselves. We each possess the power to change anything about ourselves at any time. It takes nothing but a final decision to make a change.
However, people fear change for numerous reasons. Satan loves the fear game. He knows as long as he can keep Christians miserable and feeling helpless or inadequate through fear, whether it be in our jobs, everyday life situations, relationships or by simply looking in the mirror, Christians will not be in their optimal place to serve God. In fact many will stop striving.
Our goal as Christians should be to continually strive to be in our optimal place of serving God. For each of us, that place appears differently. We each possess a unique set of skills and a unique situation to use them in. However, when we are intimidated by fear, and doubt our own abilities, we tend to not to stay focused.
In spite of the negative thoughts we may have, we need to focus ourselves on Gods word. Believe it and trust it with no exception. Soon our fears disappear and our relationship with God becomes stronger.
By increasing our relationship with Jesus Christ and following God's word we draw ourselves up under the protection and blessing of God. Our fears go away and great things happen.
When we live our life under God's protection and blessing there is no limit to the changes we can make and who we can become. We become powerful.
The key is #1, to read God's word in it's entirety. This will teach you the truth of God, what has been afforded to you and how to claim it as well as give you the strength and knowledge you need to give Satan and his scare tactics the boot.
And #2, open yourself to God and provide a channel for two way communication. This not only enables you to pray but also to hear and recognize God's answers.
" When you have an adventurous attitude you walk with God. Your consciousness expands. What was ordinary becomes extraordinary. What was common becomes uncommon. The ground on which you stand is holy ground!"
- Wilfred A. Peterson
"The adventurous attitude will challenge you to take the risk, to do that which is different, unknown. When you dare more, you will do more. The adventurous attitude frees you from fear, frees you to live. "A ship in the harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are made for," wrote John Shedd. Life is for adventuing!" - Excerpt from Adventures in the Art of Living by Wilfred A. Peterson.

Proverbs 2:1-11

"My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding,

and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,

and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,

then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

Then you will understand what is right and just and fair-every good path.

For wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.

Discretion will protect you and understanding will guard you."
